Warpaint

On July 7, 2017, Warpaint performed at NOS Alive! in Oeiras, Portugal, showcasing their ethereal sound and dynamic musicianship. At this point in their career, the band had recently released their third studio album, “Heads Up,” which came out in September 2016. This album marked a shift in their musical style, introducing a more upbeat and experimental sound compared to their earlier work. The live performance captures the band's evolution, as they blend elements of rock, pop, and psychedelia, with songs like "Undertow" highlighting their signature lush harmonies and intricate melodies. Interestingly, the recording also features the track "Chic U Tease," which exemplifies the playful experimentation the band embraced in “Heads Up,” illustrating their growth as artists. This performance at a well-known festival like NOS Alive! solidified their presence in the international music scene.
