King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard

On February 26, 2021, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard performed at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, showcasing their energetic live presence. Just prior to this recording, the band released their album *L.W.* in February 2021, which marked a continuation of their prolific output, following *KG*, released in November 2020. Interestingly, these albums were recorded as part of their ambitious plan to release five studio LPs in 2020 and 2021. Fans were thrilled to experience the raw sound of the band during a time when live performances were scarce, thanks to global restrictions. The unique setting of the concert, viewed through a GoPro, added an intimate, grassroots feel, capturing the essence of King Gizzard's eclectic style and the connection with their audience. It’s remarkable how they maintained creative momentum even during challenging times, further solidifying their reputation as one of Australia's most beloved bands.
