Def Leppard

On February 12, 1988, Def Leppard was deep into their Hysteria Tour, promoting their iconic album "Hysteria," which had been released in August 1987. This album marked a significant point in their career, as it propelled them into superstardom with hits like "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and "Love Bites." The live performance captured in the video "Bringin' On The Heartbreak" showcases the band's massive popularity and their polished live stage presence at the McNichols Sports Arena in Denver. Interestingly, "Hysteria" was produced by Mutt Lange, who had previously worked with the band on their successful album "Pyromania" (1983), but the recording process for "Hysteria" saw numerous challenges, including a drum accident that left drummer Rick Allen with a significant injury. This resilient comeback is symbolic of the band's perseverance and talent, further amplified by the energetic live performances during this tour.
