In June 2013, Motörhead delivered an electrifying performance of "Metropolis" at the Download Festival, held at the iconic Donington Park. At this time, the band was riding high off the success of their album "Aftershock," which was released just months prior in November 2013. This live recording captures the raw energy and charisma that only Motörhead could bring to the stage. Interestingly, it was one of the band’s final performances before lead singer Lemmy Kilmister’s health issues became more prominent. As hardcore fans will tell you, the Download Festival is renowned for its heavy metal lineage, and Motörhead’s presence there solidified their legacy as pioneers of the genre.
