Yo La Tengo

On June 24, 2017, Yo La Tengo performed "My Heart's Not In It" at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens as part of the Summer Nostos Festival. Leading up to this live recording, the band had released their album "Stuff Like That There" in 2015, which was a collection of reinterpreted songs from their earlier catalog alongside a few new tracks. This album marked a reflective phase for the group, emphasizing their ability to reinterpret past works while inviting newer audiences to experience their eclectic sound. Interestingly, this live performance showcased their distinctive style, blending dreamy melodies with intricate improvisations—a hallmark of their live shows. By this time, the band had carved out a unique niche, firmly establishing themselves as influential figures in the indie rock scene.
