The Doors

On July 22, 1967, The Doors performed live at Dante's Inferno in Vancouver, delivering their iconic hits "The Crystal Ship" and "Light My Fire" on Dick Clark's American Bandstand. This performance came just as their debut album, "The Doors," was skyrocketing in popularity, having been released earlier that year. "Light My Fire" quickly became a cultural phenomenon, even topping the charts and defining the summer of '67. The band, fronted by the enigmatic Jim Morrison, was at a pivotal moment in their early career, with their fusion of rock, blues, and poetic lyricism capturing the spirit of the counterculture era.
