The Doors

The Doors were really hitting their stride during the summer of 1968, right around the time of their live recording at the Hollywood Bowl on August 5th. Prior to this electrifying performance, they released their third studio album, "Waiting for the Sun," just a month earlier in July. This album was a pivotal moment for the band, showcasing their evolution with hits like "Hello, I Love You." The live concert captured the band’s raw energy and Jim Morrison's magnetic presence, which was a hallmark of their shows. It's fascinating to note that the Hollywood Bowl performance also featured an iconic version of their classic, "Light My Fire."
