On October 11, 1967, The Doors delivered a captivating performance at Danbury High School Auditorium, just a month after the release of their iconic second album, *Strange Days*. This album showcased a darker, more experimental sound, building on the success of their self-titled debut. It's fascinating to note that *Strange Days* featured the hauntingly beautiful track 'People Are Strange,' which really encapsulates the band's enigmatic essence. By this time, The Doors were right on the cusp of becoming one of the defining acts of the '60s counterculture movement. In fact, Jim Morrison’s larger-than-life persona, combined with Robby Krieger's unique guitar riffs and Ray Manzarek's lush keyboard arrangements, helped cement their status as rock legends.
