In July 2013, ZZ Top performed 'Waitin' for the Bus' live at the Montreux Jazz Festival, bringing the energy and essence of their legendary Texas blues-rock sound to the stage. Before this electrifying show, they released their album 'La Futura' in 2012, which marked their first studio album in nearly a decade. This album reasserted their legacy, featuring a mix of classic ZZ Top grit and modern influences. Interestingly, the band maintained their iconic lineup since 1969, comprised of Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and Frank Beard, which speaks volumes about their unity and enduring appeal. As the audience roared during this live recording, it was clear that ZZ Top's charm and talent shone just as brightly on stage as it did in their earlier years.
