On April 16, 2023, ZZ Top delivered a powerhouse performance of "Got Me Under Pressure" at the McAllen Performing Arts Center in Texas, showcasing their timeless rock spirit. This show came on the heels of their recent album, "Raw," released in July 2021, which celebrates the band's early years with stripped-down versions of their classics. Elwood Francis, stepping in as the band's bassist, played the unique 17-string bass, adding a crisp twist to their iconic sound. Interestingly, ZZ Top, known for their legendary beards and blues-infused rock, has been a staple in the music scene for more than five decades, transcending generations of fans. This live performance not only highlights their enduring appeal but also underscores their dynamic ability to evolve while staying true to their roots.
