At this point in their career, the band had just released their album "Mescalero" in 2003, which showcased a blend of blues and rock influences, further solidifying their distinctive sound. It's fascinating to note that even after decades in the industry, ZZ Top made a compelling effort to explore new musical directions with each release. This live recording captures the trio's signature style, complete with Billy Gibbons' iconic guitar riffs and the rhythmic foundation laid by Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. ZZ Top’s ability to draw fans from diverse backgrounds is part of their charm, and in places like Macedonia, they proved that rock 'n' roll truly knows no borders.
