ZZ Top

In September 2016, ZZ Top performed at the Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse, capturing audiences with their signature sound during the live rendition of "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide." This performance came on the heels of their 2012 album "La Futura," which marked a return to their classic blues-rock roots. By this time, ZZ Top was celebrating over four decades of making music, showcasing their timeless style and charismatic stage presence. An interesting nugget about the band is their iconic look—bearded guitarist Billy Gibbons and bassist Dusty Hill, both sporting sunglasses and hats, have become rock legends, not just for their music but their consistent image. Given their history of hit records and energetic shows, this concert was yet another example of how ZZ Top remains a significant force in rock, even as newer generations discover their sound.
