Sting

In May 1988, Sting performed at the stunning Arena di Verona for the Notte Rock festival, a pivotal moment in his solo career following his successful debut album, "The Dream of the Blue Turtles," released in 1985. By this time, he had already ventured into a more expansive sound that blended rock, jazz, and world influences, capturing the hearts of many. At this live recording, Sting showcased tracks from his then-recent album, "...Nothing Like the Sun," which came out in 1987. This album further demonstrated his lyrical depth and musical evolution, featuring hits like "Englishman in New York" and "We'll Be Together." The vibrant setting of Verona only added to the magic of the performance.
