Sting

In May 2015, Sting graced the stage at Morocco's Mawazine Music Festival, performing a mix of his classic hits and newer material. This live recording came shortly after the release of his album '57th & 9th,' which debuted in 2016, marking Sting's first rock album in over a decade. Though the album came out the following year, the performance signaled a vibrant return to his rock roots. Interestingly, 'Desert Rose,' the standout track from his earlier work, perfectly encapsulated the fusion of his influences—melding Western pop with Middle Eastern sounds, reflective of the diverse audience at the festival. This concert also showcased Sting's enduring appeal and ability to create a shared experience through music, transcending borders and genres.
