Broken Social Scene

On October 3, 2017, Broken Social Scene took the stage at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, performing "Superconnected" for a World Cafe session. By this time, the band had just released their much-anticipated album, *Hug of Thunder*, in July 2017, which marked their first album in seven years. The energy was palpable, as this critically acclaimed release showcased a return to their signature sound—rich, layered instrumentals combined with introspective lyrics. Not only did they manage to bring back their beloved style, but they also embraced a slightly more polished approach.
