Neutral Milk Hotel

On April 24, 1997, Neutral Milk Hotel performed at Silk City in Philadelphia, marking a pivotal moment just before they became indie legends. At this point in their career, they had already released their first album, "On Avery Island" in 1996, but the live recording likely captures the early stages of what would evolve into their magnum opus, "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea," which debuted just a year later in 1998.
