The Lemonheads

The Lemonheads were experiencing a resurgence leading up to their live performance at Delmar Hall in St. Louis on September 27, 2024. Prior to this recording, the band had released "The Lemonheads," their self-titled album in 2021, marking a significant return to their signature sound after a long hiatus. This release gave the band a fresh platform from which to tour and connect with fans, reviving interest in their influential mix of alternative rock and college rock aesthetics. During the concert, the setlist included a variety of tracks from their past, showcasing their dynamic range and commitment to both nostalgia and musical exploration. Notably, the inclusion of covers, such as “Snowblind” by Black Sabbath and “The Sound of Silence” by Simon & Garfunkel, highlights the band's eclectic influences and ability to reinterpret classics, making the live performance a blend of old favorites and new interpretations.
