In February 1984, Aerosmith was riding the wave of their comeback following a tough period in the late '70s and early '80s. Right before this electrifying concert at the Providence Civic Center, they released 'Rock in a Hard Place' in 1982, marking a significant shift as it was their first album without founding guitarist Joe Perry, who had left the band temporarily. This live performance captures the raw energy and chemistry they brought to the stage during that era, featuring tracks like 'Back In The Saddle' and 'Mama Kin.' Interestingly, during this time, Aerosmith was also juggling lineup changes and personal challenges. Yet, their passion shone through, proving they were still a rock force to be reckoned with, laying the groundwork for future hits and revival.
