An interesting tidbit: during this time, Clapton was already widely recognized for his work in The Yardbirds and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, but with Cream, he fully unleashed his creativity, influencing countless musicians. Their dynamic chemistry, especially between Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce, made them a force to be reckoned with, paving the way for rock and blues fusion as we know it.
