In February 1996, Pulp delivered an electrifying performance of "Disco 2000" and "I Spy" on the French TV show "Nulle Part Ailleurs". This show came shortly after the release of their groundbreaking album, "Different Class", which had launched them into mainstream stardom and earned critical acclaim. The album, released in October 1995, is often celebrated for its sharp social commentary and unforgettable hooks. By this time, Pulp was evolving from Britpop underdogs to true icons, emblematic of a generation’s voice. Interestingly, the band’s frontman, Jarvis Cocker, showcased his distinctive style and charisma during this performance, which captivated audiences.
