Grand Funk Railroad

In 2018, Grand Funk Railroad was riding a wave of nostalgia and renewed energy, having reformed in the mid-'90s after a notable hiatus. Leading up to their live performance at the Hard Rock Live in Biloxi, they had released a series of compilations and new material, with their latest studio album being 'Good Singin', Good Playin'' from 1997. The band had a long history of powerful live shows, known for their energetic performances and classic hits like 'We're an American Band' and 'Some Kind of Wonderful.' Interestingly, the band's original lineup featured the 'Thunderous Three': Mark Farner, Mel Schacher, and Don Brewer, who created a sound that bridged rock and roll with a touch of blues. This particular concert captured the essence of their enduring legacy, celebrating decades of music while continuing to draw in both old fans and new audiences alike.
