Jane’s Addiction

On February 18, 1991, Jane's Addiction performed at the Orlando Sports Club, a pivotal moment in their journey as a band. Just before this live recording, they had released their critically acclaimed album 'Nothing's Shocking' in 1988, which showcased their unique blend of alternative rock and punk influences. In fact, 'Nothing's Shocking' is often credited with helping to usher in the alternative rock movement of the 1990s. By this point in their career, the band was gaining significant traction and was known for their electrifying live performances, which included tracks like 'Been Caught Stealing' and 'Three Days,' both of which were likely featured in this set. It's interesting to note that their charismatic frontman, Perry Farrell, was already making waves not just with the band but also for organizing the Lollapalooza festival, further solidifying their cultural impact during this time.
