Jane's Addiction performs Mountain Song live at Shoreline Amphitheatre
On June 2, 2012, Jane's Addiction delivered an electric performance of "Mountain Song" at the Shoreline Amphitheatre during the Live 105 BFD festival. By this time, the band had recently released their album, 'The Great Escape Artist,' in 2011. This album marked their first studio album in nearly eight years and showcased a blend of their classic alternative rock sound infused with modern elements. Interestingly, this live recording highlights their resilience and enduring appeal, as they reunited with original members Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro, reinvigorating their fan base. The atmosphere during their performance at BFD was nothing short of palpable, as the audience was eager to relive the raw energy that Jane's Addiction was known for. Their live shows still echo with the same intensity that made them pioneers in the '90s grunge scene.
