This live recording came just after the release of their 2008 album, 'The Great Escape Artist,' which marked their first studio album in over seven years. During this period, the band was reconnecting with their roots while exploring fresh musical territory, showcasing a blend of their signature alt-rock sound with new influences. Interestingly, the tour featured a lineup that included iconic frontman Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro, both of whom were integral to the band's original lineup.
