In February 2010, during the Sydney Soundwave Festival, Jane's Addiction delivered a memorable performance of 'Sex Is Violent.' This was a significant moment in the band's career, taking place after the release of their fourth studio album, 'The Great Escape Artist,' in 2011. Although the album followed in the immediate years after this live recording, Jane's Addiction had a rich history marked by their acclaimed debut 'Nothing's Shocking' and 'Ritual de lo Habitual.' The performance at Eastern Creek International Raceway not only showcased their dynamic stage presence but also reflected their enduring influence on alternative rock.
