Jane’s Addiction

On September 25, 2021, Jane's Addiction performed "Jane Says" live at the BB&T Pavilion during the MMRBQ, a festival renowned for showcasing rock legends. This performance came after the band had released their pivotal album, "The Great Escape Artist," in 2011, marking a significant comeback. Although not a full-length new studio effort since then, the band's participation in such festivals signaled their enduring legacy and ability to captivate audiences, even after years of hiatuses. Interestingly, 'Jane Says,' a staple of their set, originally appeared on their groundbreaking 1988 debut album, "Nothing's Shocking," which blended punk, metal, and alternative rock, forever influencing the soundscape of the '90s and beyond. The intensity of their live shows, amplified by Perry Farrell’s charismatic energy and Dave Navarro’s signature guitar work, continues to resonate with both old fans and new generations.
