The Church

On March 21, 2023, The Church performed a full set at The Gothic Theater in Englewood, Colorado, showcasing their enduring status in the rock music scene. Prior to this live recording, the band released their album "The Hypnogogue" in February 2023, marking their first studio album in six years. This album was notable for its exploration of new sonic landscapes while retaining the band's signature dreamy sound and poetic lyrics. The concert reflected their ability to connect with longtime fans as well as newer audiences, featuring a mix of both new material from "The Hypnogogue" and classic hits. Interestingly, The Church has maintained a dedicated following despite numerous lineup changes and evolving musical styles since their inception in the early 1980s, showcasing their resilience and creativity.
