Notably, "The Slow Rush" marked a significant period for Tame Impala, as it was the first album released after their critically acclaimed project "Currents" from 2015. The band, led by Kevin Parker, has garnered acclaim for their psychedelic sound and innovative production, especially during live performances. At Lollapalooza, they played three tracks: “One More Year,” “Borderline,” and “Nangs,” showcasing their ability to create a vibrant atmosphere while highlighting their recent sonic developments and strong connection with their audience.
