Jethro Tull

On July 13, 1991, Jethro Tull took to the stage at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Açıkhava Tiyatrosu in Istanbul, delivering a soaring live rendition of their classic "My God" alongside the enchanting "Bouree." By this point in their career, the band had recently released the album "Rock Island" in 1989, which featured a more electrified sound compared to their earlier folk-infused works. Interestingly, this live performance came during a period of renewed exploration for the band, as they navigated changes in musical style and audience expectations. Jethro Tull's frontman, Ian Anderson, continued to captivate audiences with his distinctive flute playing and charismatic stage presence, ensuring that the legacy of their innovative sound remained vibrant even as they experimented with new directions.
