Before this electrifying performance at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Canada, KISS had released the album 'Psycho Circus' in 1998, which marked their first studio album with the original lineup since 1979's 'Dynasty.' The live recording showcases songs like 'Detroit Rock City' and 'Shout It Out Loud,' both staples of their iconic theatrical rock sound. Interestingly, 'Psycho Circus' attempted to capture the spirit of the band while embracing modern production techniques.
