Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home Live Performance at Rock on the Range
In May 2010, Coheed and Cambria were riding high on the release of their fifth studio album, "Year of the Black Rainbow," which had debuted just a month earlier. This live performance of "Welcome Home" at Rock on the Range captures the band during a pivotal time as they were immersing fans in the complex narrative of The Amory Wars. Interestingly, the album marked a shift, showcasing a more refined sound compared to their earlier works, incorporating elements of progressive rock while still holding onto their post-hardcore roots. This was the first album to feature drummer Chris Pennie since he left the band, bringing in a new energy. The Electric Factory show was electrifying, a reminder of their dynamic live presence that has earned them a dedicated following. Both the band and the album had a lot to prove, and their performance didn't disappoint.
