Modest Mouse

On September 26, 2014, Modest Mouse was riding high on the anticipation of their album 'Strangers to Ourselves,' which was released in 2015 after a long hiatus since their previous project, 'We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank' in 2007. During this live performance at the Masonic Theatre, the band showcased their unique sound, blending indie rock with introspective lyrics, a hallmark of their career. Interestingly, this show arrives during a period of reinvention for the band, as they embraced new creative directions following a lengthy break. With founding member Isaac Brock at the helm, fans were teased with fresh material, including the song 'The Good Times Are Killing Me,' inviting nostalgia while pushing forward into new sonic territories.
