Modest Mouse

In May 2014, Modest Mouse performed 'The View' live at the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. This performance came just after the release of their highly anticipated album, 'Strangers to Ourselves,' which dropped in March 2015. At this point in their career, the band was reconnecting with fans after a lengthy hiatus, and excitement was palpable. Notably, this marked their first studio album in over eight years since 'We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank' in 2007. The live energy captured at Shaky Knees encapsulates the band's unique blend of indie rock and their penchant for introspective lyrics, while also showcasing the band's evolution in sound.
