Spafford

In November 2017, Spafford was riding high on the waves of their growing popularity, especially with their latest studio album, "For This I've Seen," released earlier that same year. This performance of "Windmill" at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins showcases the band's incredible improvisational skills and tight-knit musical interaction. Interestingly, by this time, Spafford had carved out a niche in the jam band scene, drawing influences from rock, funk, and progressive pop. The band’s commitment to live shows is evident here, as they often experimented and redefined their sound during performances. Just one show prior to this, they played in the iconic Red Rocks, showing their rapid ascent within the live music circuit.
