Dark Star Orchestra

In the summer of 2014, Dark Star Orchestra found themselves performing at the Gathering of the Vibes Music Festival, a venue synonymous with celebrating music and community. Just before this lively performance of 'Alligator' on July 31, they had released their studio album 'All Good Things', which showcased their ability to fuse original material with the spirit of the Grateful Dead—a band that heavily influences them. Their live shows are known for their electric atmosphere and improvisational flair. Interestingly, 'All Good Things' was a notable step in the band's evolution, further solidifying their place in the tribute band scene while also attracting new fans. The energy at Seaside Park that day was palpable, as the band seamlessly incorporated touches that hark back to the Dead’s legendary shows, a practice that keeps the spirit alive for both old and new fans alike.
