My Chemical Romance

On October 8, 2003, My Chemical Romance performed live at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, shortly after the release of their debut album, "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love," which had been unveiled just a few months prior in July. This was a pivotal time for the band, as they were beginning to carve out their unique space in the emo and punk scenes. By this point, they were still relatively unknown but gaining traction, especially with their energetic live shows. An interesting tidbit is that around this time, Gerard Way, the frontman, was still channeling that raw, unfiltered emotion that would later define their more polished records.
