Sleater‐Kinney

'The Hot Rock', the album that features this track, wouldn't drop until 1999, but this performance captures the band's creative process and evolving sound. It’s interesting to note that Sleater-Kinney's later work, including 'The Hot Rock', would explore more intricate lyrical themes and even broader soundscapes, reflecting their growth as artists. This live moment offers a glimpse into a dynamic period in their career when they were constantly pushing boundaries and redefining what it meant to be a feminist punk band.
