Violent Femmes took the stage at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on March 22, 2025, delivering a vibrant performance of their iconic hit "Blister in the Sun." This live recording came during a resurgence period for the band, following the release of their album "Hotel Last Resort" in 2019, which showcased their continued evolution and relevance in the music scene. It’s fascinating to note that the band, known for their infectious energy and unique blend of folk-punk sound, had a far more mature approach in their later years while still capturing the raw emotion and humor that made them famous in the '80s. Add to that the band's loyal fan base and they created an electric atmosphere in Irving, Texas, during this noteworthy performance.
