Guided by Voices

In August 2011, Guided by Voices performed 'Over The Neptune/Mesh Gear Fox' at the Øyafestivalen in Oslo, bringing a nostalgic energy to the stage. This live performance came just a few years after they announced their reunion in 2010, revitalizing their sound and bringing new life to their earlier hits. Before this show, they had released 'Let's Go Eat the Factory' in early 2012, marking their return after a long hiatus. Notably, the track they performed, which originally appeared on the 'Propeller' album back in 1992, showcases their lo-fi charm and songwriting prowess. The group’s ability to command attention, even amidst a bustling festival environment, highlighted their significance in the indie rock scene. Fans were thrilled to witness the band's classic sound, alive and kicking more than a decade later.
