In March 1972, the Jeff Beck Group showcased their electrifying sound during a live recording for the 'Beat Club' at the Radio Bremen Television Studios in Germany. This performance came just after the release of their album 'Rough and Ready' in 1971, which marked a significant shift in their musical direction, featuring heavier blues and rock elements. Interestingly, this period was characterized by a more collaborative approach within the band, and it was also the last studio album to feature legendary vocalist Rod Stewart. Their live set, which included songs like 'Got The Feeling' and 'Morning Dew,' captures the raw energy and creative synergy of the group, reflecting the dynamic atmosphere they were known for—no wonder they became a staple of the progressive rock scene!
