Black Sabbath

In May 2012, Black Sabbath performed at the O2 Academy in Birmingham, just as they were gearing up for the release of their first studio album in 35 years, '13,' which came out the following year. This performance marked a significant comeback for the band, originally formed in 1968, showcasing both their legendary status and renewed energy as they played their iconic tracks for fans. The anticipation around the live show was palpable, as it occurred shortly after the announcement of their reunion. Interestingly, original members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler were reunited for this tour, with Brad Wilk filling in on drums for Bill Ward, who had not been able to participate. The concert not only highlighted their classic sound but also their evolution, a reminder of their lasting influence on rock and heavy metal.
