This album marked the beginning of a new era for the band, highlighting the contributions of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, who had joined the group shortly before its release. The live recording of "Rhiannon" captures the band in the midst of their meteoric rise to fame, illustrating the powerful synergy between Buckingham's guitar work and Nicks' commanding vocals. "Rhiannon," inspired by a Welsh myth, showcases Nicks' unique storytelling and has since become one of the band's signature songs. By this point, Fleetwood Mac was transitioning from a blues-oriented band to a commercial rock powerhouse, setting the stage for the massive success that would follow with their later album, "Rumours," released in 1977.
