On July 8, 2018, Dark Star Orchestra delivered a memorable performance of 'Samson & Delilah' at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, marking their debut at this legendary venue. This concert celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Grateful Dead's own performance from 1978, showcasing DSO's unique ability to recreate the magic of the Dead's live shows. Just before this recording, in 2016, the band released their album 'All In Time,' which further solidified their reputation as devoted interpreters of Grateful Dead's music. What’s fascinating is how DSO not only pays homage to the classic sound but also weaves their own personality into these nostalgic moments—it's like reliving history while adding a contemporary twist.
