On December 8, 2024, Dopapod graced the stage at Higher Ground Music Hall in South Burlington, showcasing their signature blend of progressive rock and improvisational jamming. Just prior to this performance, the band released their album 'Emit Time' in 2023, which featured an evolution in their sound, characterized by electronic influences and dynamic songwriting. This album perfectly set the stage for their live shows, allowing fans to experience tracks reimagined in real-time. The band's chemistry was palpable, with members Eli Winderman on keyboards, Rob Compa on guitar, Neal 'Fro' Evans on drums, and Chuck Jones on bass coming together to create an electric atmosphere. An interesting tidbit is that the tour manager, Jesse Boyer, has been with them for quite a while, ensuring smooth transitions from the studio to the stage, blending their intricate studio work with the spontaneity that live performances are known for.
