Atlas Sound

In August 2012, Atlas Sound, the solo project of Bradford Cox from Deerhunter, delivered a captivating live performance at Osheaga in Montreal. This show came shortly after the release of his album 'Parallax,' which dropped in November 2011, showcasing his unique blend of lo-fi indie and experimental pop. Cox, with his signature style and charming quirkiness, made the best of a less-than-ideal situation when he humorously thanked Delta Airlines for misplacing his gear, highlighting his down-to-earth persona. Borrowing a guitar from the band Wintersleep, he effortlessly connected with the audience, delivering a series of emotional folk tunes. His ability to draw listeners in, even amidst technical hiccups, demonstrated his artistic magnetism and the genuine bond he shares with fans. It's moments like these that remind us of the raw beauty and spontaneity of live music.
