Atlas Sound

In the summer of 2012, Atlas Sound, the solo project of Deerhunter's Bradford Cox, was riding high on the success of his album "Parallax," which had been released just months earlier in November 2011. This album marked a significant moment in his career, showcasing his lush soundscapes and introspective lyrics, and it was captivating fans and critics alike. The live performance of "Walkabout" at Athfest on June 22, 2012, reflects this peak. Notably, Howard Bilerman, who played a role in producing the album, helped shape the rich atmospheres Cox is known for.
