Hot Chip

In the summer of 2015, Hot Chip was riding high on the success of their album 'Why Make Sense?', released just a few months prior in June. This album showcased their evolving sound, marrying their typical electronic pop with a more mature touch. During their vibrant live set at Lowlands 2015, fans were treated to a mix of tracks from this album, including the infectious 'Huarache Lights' and the heartfelt 'Need You Now.' An interesting tidbit: their knack for blending catchy hooks with introspective lyrics truly shone through in this performance, a hallmark of their career. Moreover, the event featured the talented Alex Kapranos from Franz Ferdinand, whose collaboration on 'Dancing In The Dark' added an exciting twist to the live experience. It's no wonder the atmosphere at Glanusk Park was electric, as Hot Chip continued to establish themselves as innovators in the electro-pop scene.
