Mission of Burma

In the vibrant atmosphere of Solar 1 on April 19, 2008, Mission of Burma delivered a soul-stirring performance of their iconic track, "That's When I Reach For My Revolver." At this point in their career, they had just released their album "The Obliterati" in 2006, marking a triumphant return after a long hiatus from recording since their breakup in 1983. This album revitalized their sound and showcased their unique blend of post-punk and experimental rock, earning critical acclaim. An interesting tidbit is that despite their earlier separation, Mission of Burma continued to influence generations of musicians; this live recording beautifully captures the raw energy and passion that have defined their music. With each note played in that electric venue, it’s clear that their essence remains undiminished by time.
