Interestingly, this was their first studio album in four years, marking a significant return for the band that had put their energetic sound on hold since 2017. At this point in their career, the band's evolution was palpable; they were balancing nostalgia for their earlier works with fresh, introspective themes. This performance, part of KEXP's VIP Club concert series, emphasized not just their musical prowess but also their strong connection with fans, which continues to define their legacy.
