On March 5, 2020, Circles Around the Sun delivered a mesmerizing performance at Union Stage in Washington, D.C., captured in a stunning live video featuring the collaboration with Mad Alchemy's visual projections. Before this live recording, the band released their album 'Let It Wander' in 2018 which offered a rich exploration of their ambient rock sound. The performance marked a pivotal moment in the band's trajectory, showcasing their improvisational prowess and the atmospheric depth they've cultivated since their inception. Interestingly, Circles Around the Sun initially gained recognition for creating the intermission music for the Grateful Dead’s ‘Fare Thee Well’ shows in 2015, blending their unique style with influences from the jam band scene. This concert highlights their ability to create a captivating, almost transcendental experience that resonates deeply with fans.
